Psst… do you know the Secrets of Seething Wells?

The Seething Wells Filter Beds on Portsmouth Road in Surbiton are home to over 75 species of birds, 8 species of bats and many different reptiles, invertebrates and plants.

Take part in our fun, family-friendly competition to learn all about them, and uncover the Secrets of Seething Wells for yourself.

Join in by downloading artist and community member Kay Galbraith’s ‘Secrets of Seething Wells’ zine, naming all the species and sharing your artistic works with us on our Facebook or Instagram. Make sure to tag @kay.galbraith and @saveseethingwells to enter a prize draw to win goodies.

This current round of the competition closes on 17 December, and winners will be announced on 19 December. Anyone can join in, we have two categories for prizes: under 10s and over 10s.

Sadly, many of Seething Well’s plants and animals are today in danger of disappearing due to poor management of the site.
